For a magazine project, I decided to create a wedding magazine designed for those looking to plan a wedding on a small budget and for brides with a sense of humor. This magazine allowed to express my personal opinion on ways to save for a bride’s big day, all while I was planning my own wedding.

Creating magazines allow designers to showcase their talents in layout and content all while trying to attract the reader in an engaging way. Most wedding magazines have similar traits in their modern themes and script fonts, but I wanted this one to be different and humorous. The “Broke-ass Bride” logo was fun to create by combining grungy and script fonts to convey an unusual genre for a wedding magazine.
