A Guide to Traditional Mexican Cuisine

Creating cookbooks allow designers to showcase their talents in typography, layout, photography and creativity. With inspiration of my Mexican heritage, I created a cookbook in dedication of my late grandmother with her traditional recipes. I love the bright colored ingredients in her recipes and wanted to capture the spirit of Mexican culture and food.

I love the idea of having a cookbook to pass on to the next generations to follow. Having a grid and layout that was both simple and easy to read was important to me. Consistency with color throughout the layout and imagery was also something I took into consideration as well.
