Impressions of Beauty & Typefaces Throughout History

In one of my favorite projects, I researched the connections between idealized beauty and typography throughout history. These time periods included the High Renaissance, Age of Enlightenment, Neoclassical Era, Industrial Revolution, Early Modernism, Modernist Era, and Post-War Era. The details may be obvious or subtle. But with a closer examination of how the idealization of beauty and type changes over time, we can better understand and appreciate the culture that idealized them.

Success of this design is in result to the advanced research that integrated these two topics together. This includes research of images and typographic styles that were displayed, analyzed, and written thoroughly on each spread.
