Typographic Communication
Expressive Type

“In typographic communication, rhythm stimulates both the mind and the eye,” states Willi Kunz, a post-modern typographic designer. Kunz was more than a typographic designer, he was a master in his craft of posters and grids by integrating typographic and information cohesively. Like in music, rhythm is everything, but great rhythm is essential. This also applies to typographic communication, great rhythm can create stimulation for the reader when it’s done correctly. I wanted to showcase Kunz’s quote in this design to show how our eyes and mind can follow rhythm and understand it clearly.
